A charming unexpected find
From the friendly front desk staff to the cozy and spacious room, my stay was delightful. I especially enjoyed the charming decor and the breakfast spread that was a feast for the senses.
The walk back to the city center was a good 15 minutes, and I found the bed arrangement quite uncomfortable as it didn’t match what was advertised. the noise from the corridor occasionally disturbed my peace.

Braw place! The breakfast offered a braw spread with fresh fruits, and the staff were pure brilliant—always ready to help. Only downside was the higher parking fees. Would definitely stay again!

Here’s why it’s a mixed review
The staff were helpful and responsive! The bed was comfy and the view was decent.
Room updates are necessary, and parking fees can hit your wallet hard.

I stayed in a Standard Double or Twin Room, which had great decor and large comfy beds. The hotel offered bike rentals for easy exploration, which was handy. Unfortunately, the parking fees were higher than expected, leaving a bit of a sting in my budget.

Enjoyed the comfort of the beds. truly some of the best I've had in a hotel. Breakfast buffet impressed me with fresh options every morning, and I appreciated the helpful staff who made extending my stay easy when my flight got canceled. I rented a bike on-site. the simplicity of having that available was a nice touch. I was put in a room facing the busy street despite requesting a quiet room, which didn't help for sleeping. The shower could use a door because it led to water all over the floor after every use. found the lack of hair conditioner strange for a four-star establishment. the cleanliness was satisfactory, but I noticed minor maintenance issues, like the heating controls. the convenience of nearby attractions kept my spirits high, but some attention to detail would elevate the experience further.

The rooms have spacious layouts, especially the superior type, which is some of the largest I've seen in Europe, complete with nice bathrooms featuring walk-in showers. The hotel is close to all the major cultural landmarks and includes unique amenities like a whisky selection at the bar and complimentary water restocked daily.
The parking fees were way higher than expected, leaving a dent in the pockets, and the process was confusing, to say the least. My room included two twin beds shoved together instead of a true queen, which isn't what the pictures had promised. There was also quite a bit of dirt under the bed, and the mount of leftover stuff in the bin was concerning. The bathroom felt cramped compared to the visuals online, and the Wi-Fi was hit or miss in certain spots. Plus, I found the checkout process particularly messy, causing a delay that made me miss my early flight. I felt like decor updates and better maintenance are in serious need.
